This senior role emphasises strategic oversight rather than daily execution. You'll operate through strategic initiatives and cross-functional leadership, acting as a key link between Global eCommerce, Regional Operations, and Technology.

Global Strategy & Roadmap:

• Develop the global strategy and multi-year roadmap for eCom operations, encompassing fulfilment, transport, returns, and logistics network design.

• Translate commercial and growth strategies into operational capabilities.

• Ensure alignment between global goals and regional execution.

Operating Model & Governance:

• Define global operating models, clarifying roles and responsibilities among central, regional, and local teams.

• Establish governance forums and decision structures across functions and regions.

• Facilitate alignment and prioritisation between eCommerce, Operations, IT, and Customer Support.

Program & Transformation Leadership:

• Lead complex, cross-functional global programs, including network expansions and logistics optimisation.

• Oversee implementation and scaling of shipping, fulfilment, and returns platforms.

• Ensure operational readiness for new product launches across multiple warehouses and 3PL setups, focusing on accountability and measurable impact.

Platform & Integration Enablement:

• Collaborate with IT and Development teams to implement improved technical solutions and ensure data consistency across orders, inventory, shipping, and returns.

Performance Management:

• Define and own global KPIs for eCom Operations.

• Establish dashboards and reporting structures for regular business reviews.

• Drive data-informed performance discussions and continuous improvements across regions and partners.

Continuous Improvement & Scalability:

• Identify and implement structural improvements in cost, lead time, resilience, and customer experience.

• Translate regional insights into scalable global standards and best practices.

• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex operational challenges across regions.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A senior leader skilled at influencing and aligning stakeholders in a global matrix organisation.

• Comfortable operating at strategic, tactical, and executive levels.

• Structured, analytical, and outcome-driven with a strong sense of ownership.

• Proven ability to define global strategies and turn them into executable roadmaps and programs.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across various functions and regions.

• A data-driven mindset, with extensive experience in operational KPIs and performance frameworks.

You Probably Have the Following Experiences & Skills:

• 7+ years of experience and background in e-commerce operations, logistics, or global supply chain management.

• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives across Operations, IT/ERP, Customer Service, and regional eCommerce teams.

• Solid experience in warehouse operations and 3PL management, as well as ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Salesforce, and various marketplace solutions.
