Sales Manager - South Korea

Right now, we need to strengthen our APAC sales team with a Sales Manager - South Korea who will focus on supporting and boosting South-Korean Sales business..
What you’ll do:
Achieve yearly sales target and grow key account business to be top brand in market. Together with the local distributor drive the sell in to key accounts so as to grow the business of the company.
Identify and develop new business opportunity which may constitute an important part to the health of the overall business
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Drive the sell-in to customers
Based on global and local company strategy and sales strategy to generate customers’ sales plan, executive and follow up.
Communicate with customers to generate sales forecast and demand forecast to be as realistic as possible.
Make sure customers receive the brand plan, sales plans, assets and support in time to grow business;
Secure the execution of the global channel strategy. Ownership local consumer plan together with marketing stake holders and distributor.
Make sure there is strong link and integration between online and offline.
Use sales skills to reasonably push forward the sell-in to customers.
Budget and cost planning, management according to procedure and overall planning.
2. Drive the sell-out of customers
Closely monitoring the market change and brand development to give right guidance to customers
Work closely with offline distributor to understand their actual needs. Balance the development between online and offline business (if applicable)
Manage customers’ demand and lead the internal communication to help out the customer sell out (if applicable)
Campaign planning and execution.
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities
Identity key business opportunities which may improve strategical roadmap of company business South Korea.
Develop and enter new cooperations to drive the overall business in the future
Contact and communicate with all kinds of leads collected from trade show and daily operation to find out business opportunities
Input insights to company decision boards.
Build relationship with decisions makers from key accounts in the South Korean CE retail landscape.
4. Others
Lead assigned projects which assigned by supervisor
Coordinate internal resources to support customers’ demand
Take local lead for how we show up in offline retail. Together with distributor and local channel manager make sure we are always best in-class on the shelves and actively pursue better space and location in retail.
Together with channel manager and distributor host product training seminars for the retailers.
Provide feedback to regional team about trends and market data from South Korea.
Who we’re looking for:
Self-driven and reliable; juggle a multitude of tasks some with very short notice. Non-prestigious and humble person who understands the challenges and opportunites that a fast growing company might have.
Entreprenurial mindset, no task is too small.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
High level of organisational skills.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
Bachelor holder within business and/or marketing background.
At least 5-7 years working experience relating to sales and/or account management. Preferably within the consumer electronics field, especially within the audio category.
Have existing experience from previous work with the major CE retailers and department stores in the market: Electromart, Kyobo Books, Hi-Mart, Shinsegae etc.
Experience with working with international brands in South Korea.
Budget management.
