Sourcing Specialist

Right now, we need to strengthen our New Product Sourcing team with a Sourcing Specialist who will focus on identifying and managing strategic supplier partnerships and driving cost optimisation throughout product development.
What you’ll do:
The Sourcing Specialist is a key member of the New Product Development team, responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing partners from early cost estimation through product launch. You'll establish the legal and commercial frameworks with each partner while supporting the team's long-term sourcing strategy and cross-functional project goals. You'll also focus on editions and collaboration projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Estimate product costs, including investment and development costs such as tooling and NRE costs
Identify and highlight risks (e.g., long lead times, supplier capabilities) and main cost drivers
Send Requests for Information, Proposals, and Quotations to multiple suppliers following the sourcing strategy
Negotiate terms, conditions, and final pricing for products, tooling, and NRE costs
Select and award suppliers based on input from project teams, line management, and overall sourcing strategy
Order tools and NRE while managing all changes during project development until completion
Act as the first point of contact for sourcing issues and escalate when needed
Support the project manager during escalations and collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team
Who we’re looking for:
A strategic thinker with strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent negotiation skills. You're detail-oriented, ethically minded, and able to build and maintain strong professional relationships across teams and with external partners.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
1–5 years of sourcing experience with a proven track record of delivering against targets
Strong analytical skills, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
Strategic mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics and assess risks
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to sustain networking relationships
Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and product design
Awareness of and commitment to business ethics
University degree (preferred)
English fluency
