Digital Audio Specialist

Right now, we need to strengthen our R&D team in Milton Keynes with a Digital Audio Specialist.
What you’ll do:
You will play a key role in the development of audio plugins and digital hardware products by supporting in the voicing of audio blocks, designing new effects, and specifying user experiences. You will work closely with the Software team to produce the very best digital audio experiences for musicians and music lovers worldwide.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Use supplied digital audio tools to produce high-quality novel audio signal chains.
Support in the specification of application front ends and hardware product interfaces.
Match existing digital systems to references, and use sound production understanding to improve on them.
Specify the requirements of audio DSP tools for the completion of the tasks above.
Own the sonic elements of projects, communicating with the rest of the team, issue tracking, etc.
Support the team in specifying and designing software products for the mass market.
Organise user feedback forums and collate information to improve Marshall products for customers.
Who we’re looking for:
You are a passionate sound designer and guitar player, bringing creativity and precision to every stage of product development. You thrive in collaborative teams, enjoy sharing ideas, and take pride in helping your team achieve shared goals.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
3+ years of professional experience working within the audio technology industry in a project-based team role.
Experience in digital audio plugin development.
Professional experience in music production, with a focus on guitar.
Proficient guitar player with an explicit understanding of guitar equipment.
Experience with multiple DAWs, especially MAX MSP and Ableton Live.
Good understanding of DSP principles and software engineering.
DSP development experience is a plus.
An understanding of analogue electronics is a plus.
