Senior Demand & Supply Planner

About the Role:
As a Demand and Supply Planner, you will utilise sales forecast data and your analytical skills to estimate future product demand. Your primary objective is to maximise cash flow, ensure product availability, and enhance service levels by presenting actionable insights for purchasing decisions.
You will be responsible for guaranteeing that all materials and finished products are readily available to meet customer demands while minimising excess inventory and waste. This involves managing and prioritising transactional activities within our system and coordinating logistics effectively.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, and Sourcing, serving as the main planning contact for our Manufacturing sites.
This position combines operational responsibilities with strategic oversight, positioning you as a supportive leader in our planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Supply Planning: Oversee the entire planning process, ensuring timely product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align on strategies and manage changes smoothly.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct daily analysis of inventory and supply chain metrics, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance.
SKU Management: Maintain and optimise SKU planning, keeping track of product availability and supporting the wider supply chain strategy.
Experience & Skills
Educational Background:
At least 4-5 years in Demand and Supply Planning within a manufacturing or operational environment.
A degree or hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply planning tools. Experience with specific tools such as DYN365 and PowerBI is preferred.
Ability to create and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently across various teams.
Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Project management capabilities to implement initiatives effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional language proficiency (e.g., Mandarin) is a plus.
Experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment is advantageous.
