Senior Communications Manager

This role is based at the Marshall Group HQ in Stockholm with a minimum of 3 days a week working from the office.
What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a Senior Communications Manager to lead and evolve Marshall Group’s communications strategy — shaping how the world sees, hears, and experiences our brand. As a key member of the Communications & Sustainability team, you’ll drive a unified, powerful voice across all internal and external touchpoints. From thought leadership and executive visibility to media relations and brand storytelling, you’ll play a central role in strengthening Marshall Group's positioning globally.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can move effortlessly between big-picture thinking and day-to-day delivery — guiding a talented team while collaborating closely with leaders across the business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the group communications strategy in alignment with Marshall’s ambition, values, brand foundation, and business objectives
- Lead the communications team covering external and internal group communication
- Act as a senior advisor to the management team on communication strategy, messaging, media positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Cultivate and manage high-impact relationships with key media, investors, partners, and thought leaders
- Oversee planning, budgets, and execution of all major communication initiatives and activations
- Lead the development and implementation of the crisis communication framework, including plan of action
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams — including Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sustainability, HR, Product, and Sales — to ensure consistent storytelling and measurable impact
- Champion and elevate the role of communications as a strategic business function.
Who we’re looking for:
- Senior-level experience in Communications, Corporate Affairs, or PR — ideally in a dynamic, international organisation
- Proven success shaping brand reputation, media positioning, and executive visibility
- Strong leadership experience, managing teams, agencies, and complex stakeholder groups
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills — from press releases and speeches to digital content and reports
- Established media network with Tier-1 journalists and industry press
- Deep understanding of digital, social, and cultural trends, with a sharp instinct for engagement
- Strategic, data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into meaningful action
- Collaborative yet self-sufficient, with a prestigeless, hands-on approach
- Background in music, tech, lifestyle, or culture-driven industries is a strong plus
- Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent proven experience
