Manager, Retail Staff Engagement

We’re now looking for a dynamic Manager, Retail Staff Engagement to take our partner training and engagement strategy in Mainland China to the next level.
What you’ll do:
Engagement Strategy
- Develop and implement an engagement strategy and calendar aligned with business goals, drawing on surveys, third-party data, and business feedback.
- Oversee product and sales training delivery for partners — including distributors, trainers, field teams, and brand ambassadors — ensuring they can effectively engage and educate retail staff and external partners.
- Manage and evaluate external training and field sales teams, setting qualification standards, monitoring performance, and ensuring brand consistency in tone and presentation.
- Use systems and feedback tools to monitor engagement outcomes and improve future programs.
- Measure success via surveys, third-party checks, and in-field evaluations.
Training & Field Sales:
- Collaborate with Global Training to adapt and localize training content, including translations, formats, and attending global “train-the-trainer” (T3) sessions.
- Create localized training materials tailored to specific channels (brand, product, selling techniques, etc.)
- Partner with business departments to plan and execute training events in the local market
- Keep partner trainers up to date after product launches and global T3s
- Conduct in-store visits to assess execution, collect feedback, deliver demonstrations, and follow up on sales and campaigns — feeding insights back into the engagement strategy.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- 5+ years in product/brand engagement; retail/distributor training experience strongly preferred.
- Experience engaging across multiple channels (online and offline).
- Strong communication skills; patient, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
