Right now, we need to strengthen our Quality & Product Compliance team with a Product Certification manager who will focus on compliance & regulations.
What you’ll do:
As part of the product development organisation, your responsibility is to define Marshall Group’s global product compliance and certification regulatory requirements for the Speaker and Headphone product categories. This role is under Marshall Group’s Quality and Product Compliance team in Stockholm and reports to the Director of Quality and Product Compliance.
In this role, you are responsible for keeping the organization updated on regulatory trends, directives, and standards impacting the products throughout their entire life cycle, from product development to end-of-life. It is important to be an integral part of product development projects and support with interpretations and integration of current standards, as well as preparing for upcoming updates.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define and manage electrical safety, radio transmissions, and EMC directive requirements and their relevance for Marshall products.
- Create certification requirement specifications.
- Support product development by clarifying requirements, assessing impacts, and identifying necessary actions.
- Answer customer inquiries in the health, safety, and regulatory area.
- Monitor new global regulatory requirements relevant to our products.
- Assess the impact of new requirements, communicate them to relevant teams, and address stakeholder inquiries regarding compliance.
- Review certification test data submitted by ODMs.
- Document test data into agreed systems according to the development process.
- Support and facilitate product compliance management processes.
- Manage cybersecurity and software-related compliance requirements
Who we’re looking for:
We looking for a detail-oriented candidate experienced in product certification and global regulations, adept at cross-functional collaboration with hardware and software teams. Strong communication skills for international collaboration are essential. They should be proactive in problem-solving, with a focus on process development and effective data management. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be motivated, methodical, and organized, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and integrity as a valued team player.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- Experienced in product certification within the consumer electronics field or similar
- Experienced in radio transmission (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) regulatory requirements, EMC, and electrical safety.
- Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering field or equivalent.
- Good understanding of working with partners and suppliers in Asia
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Fluent in English.
