Right now, we need to strengthen our Chinese marketing team with an Art Director who will focus on creative development for China market campaigns and adaptations specifically for China’s channels.
What you’ll do:
The role will require deep cooperation with global stakeholders and the local China Marketing team to ideate, develop & deliver strong creative local content for the Chinese audience as well as the ability to localise and adapt concepts from global campaigns.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, website content, social media, and other marketing materials for China market
- Develop China campaigns specifically for in-market execution
- Adapt global campaigns for China specific channels and platforms
- Accountable for ensuring all content is created to high standards in line with brand guidelines and channel strategies, driving consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Manage, coordinate, and oversee all local creative content development and delivery aligned with China Marketing plans
- Be hands-on when needed foe creation of Chinese digital campaigns
- Stay up to date on cultural trends and be pro-active in approach to personal skill development
- Review the work of local partners / designers and providing direction and feedback
- Work cross-functionally with the global Creative teams, China Marketing team, E.com, local sales team and manage local talent partners and agencies.
- Support environmental design needs and adaptations across all channels in China
Who we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design, strong connection to music, and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with Chinese audiences. The position will be based in China, with a dual reporting line to the APAC Marketing Director, and Senior Art Director both based in Stockholm, Sweden.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- Minimum 5 years in the field of art direction and production and ideally 1 year team management experience.
- Experience from ad / creative agency, lifestyle, luxury, consumer electronic categories is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in art direction, graphic design, or related field
- Proficient in creative execution of different media contents, including solid knowledge of photography and video production, multimedia production, video editing, and animation
- Bilingual proficiency in written and oral Mandarin Chinese and English
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Proficiency in HTML and CSS
