Localisation Manager

Right now, we need to strengthen our Brand Marketing team in Stockholm with a Localisation Manager who will focus on delivering high-quality localised experiences across all markets and scaling localisation as a growth enabler across the customer journey. What you’ll do
In this role, you will lead end-to-end localisation initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring that all localised content reflects Marshall’s tone, style, and voice while resonating authentically in each market. You will manage complex localisation projects, partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and continuously improve workflows, tools, and quality standards. You will also play a key role in evolving localisation from a service function into a strategic growth driver for the business.
Role & Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, linguists, vendors, and regional teams, building strong and trusted working relationships.
Own end-to-end management of multiple, complex localisation projects, including scoping, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, and delivery.
Take ownership of translation quality across all languages, ensuring consistency with Marshall’s tone, style, and voice.
Develop, maintain, and enforce linguistic assets such as style guides, glossaries, and translation memories.
Lead and manage the Translation Management System to streamline automation and improve speed-to-market.
Recruit, onboard, and manage a global network of freelance linguists and vendors, including performance feedback and continuous improvement.
Oversee localisation product testing and ensure compliance with industry standards
Familiarity with DTP tools (e.g., Adobe, Figma) and project management tools (e.g., Monday. com)
Passion for languages, culture, and a strong interest in AI and machine learning

You are a structured and proactive localisation professional who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing operational excellence with strategic thinking and technical skills. You are comfortable acting as an ambassador for localisation, influencing stakeholders, and driving change across teams and markets. You work independently, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a measurable impact on the business. You will report into the Marketing Operations or equivalent global function and work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide.
You probably have the following experiences & skills
3+ years of experience managing localisation programs or projects within the translation or localisation industry.
Strong knowledge of translation workflows, localisation best practices, and quality management.
Experience working with Translation Management Systems and localisation tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a global, cross-cultural environment.
Working proficiency in at least two languages, with English as a primary language.
